I am an Assistant Professor in Economics at the University of Amsterdam. I received a PhD in Finance from the University of Geneva and the Swiss Finance Institute in June 2018. My research is focused on the theory and computation of general equilibrium models with heterogeneity and its application to macro-financial models. In particular, I am interested in the implications for wealth inequality, stock market participation, asset prices and firm financing.

My research was recognized with multiple awards. In December 2020, I was awarded the Aliprantis prize by the Society for the Advancement of Economic Theory. In March 2017, I received the James B. Ramsey Prize for the best doctoral paper at the annual Meeting of the Society for Nonlinear Dynamics and Econometrics and in August 2015, I was awarded the Macro Financial Modeling Fellowship for my work. Furthermore, I frequently present at international conferences, e.g. meetings of the Econometric Society, the NBER Summer Institute or the CEF.
